Transfer Program

As transfer ambassadors, we strive to connect prospective transfer students with other transfers. By making this connection with current transfer students we hope to create a welcoming environment, and instill potential contacts. We realize that transferring to a new school can be intimidating, and we want to reassure students that transferring is fun and successful. If you are a transfer student and would like to be a part of this program, or if you are a prospective transfer student with questions, please email busaptransfer@gmail.com or vlococo1@binghamton.edu.

Some of the events we participate in are:

Open Houses
Community College Visits
Transfer Open Houses
Transfer Visit Days
Letter Writing Campaigns
Phone Calling Projects

Transfer Appointments

Transfer appointments are a great way for you to connect with Transfer Ambassadors and discuss any of your thoughts and questions that you might have.

Each appointment consists of a meeting with an Admissions Counselor, and if the student is applying for Harpur or CCPA, a Credit Evaluator as well.

How to make an appointment:

  1. Visit https://connect.binghamton.edu/portal/transfer-visit

  2. Choose a date from the calendar

  3. Select a time that best fits your availability

  4. After choosing a date and a time, fill out the form with your information

Each student is allowed to select up to 3 resources they would like to visit, including the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development, the Financial Aid Office, the Transfer and Veteran’s Service Office, the Study Abroad office, and the Discovery Advising Center.
